About PatinaAI

PatinaAI is a Counter-Strike 2 skin price tracker and trading desk. It answers one question properly: what is this actually worth, to you, today, after the market takes its cut.

What it does

Sign in through Steam and the desk reads your inventory and prices every skin in it. Not the name average: your copy, on its own float, pattern, stickers and Doppler phase, because two identical names can be worth very different money. Every price is shown net of the fee the market would charge you, across eleven books, so the number you read is the number you would keep.

On top of that it checks whether a proposed trade is fair, runs trade-up contracts with Valve's real odds and float maths, watches prices and tells you when one crosses your number, and keeps a market index so you can see whether it is your skin moving or the whole market.

Where the numbers come from

Live listings, read directly from the markets themselves: Steam, Skinport, CSFloat, Skins.com, Buff163, Waxpeer, DMarket, Market.CSGO, CS.Money, LOOT.Farm and Swap.gg. Nothing is a guess and nothing is scraped from another aggregator. Prices refresh through the day, and every figure on the site carries the market it came from.

Fees are applied per market from a published fee table, so a "net" figure is what lands in your account rather than the sticker price. Steam is a special case and the desk treats it as one: it pays in wallet credit, which is worth less than money, so its number is discounted rather than presented as the best offer just because it is the biggest. That single decision is why the desk's "best" often disagrees with other trackers.

Sold counts come from real sales, not listing counts, which is how the desk can tell you how quickly a skin actually moves rather than how many people are asking.

What it will not do

It will not ask for your Steam API key or your password. It will not tell you a skin is a good investment. It does not take a cut of any trade, hold your items, or act as a market. It is a reading of the market, not a participant in it. Prices are indicative: the only real price is the one somebody pays.

Who makes it

A small independent project, not affiliated with Valve Corporation or with any of the markets it prices. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve. Anything wrong on the site is worth telling us about, and gets fixed: info@patinaai.net.

Start anywhere

Most of the desk is free and several tools need no account at all.

Where else to find us

Same desk, shorter form: the day's movers, what shipped, and the odd argument about what a skin is really worth.
