A thousand points a skin, so five thousand for a perfect five. Points fall off with how far the call sits from the ask, and past thirty percent they turn against you, down to a floor of minus 250 a skin. Pro accounts get a sixth call, drawn from the whole pool and worth half, which puts a perfect day at five and a half thousand.

Every call is scored against the cheapest ask across the books we price, frozen the moment your set is dealt, so the number cannot drift while you are looking at it. A wild call costs you: past thirty percent out the points go negative, and the floor is minus 250 a skin, so guessing is worse than thinking. Points are bragging rights. They buy nothing, they change no price, and nothing that happens in the game touches the desk.
Playing a friend
Your own five are yours alone, which is what stops the game being solved by whoever plays first and posts the answers. A duel is the one place that changes, because a race on different skins is not a race: a duel gets its own set of five, the same for both of you, with no clock so nobody wins by being awake at the right hour. Each of you sees the other's calls once you have both finished, and never before.
A duel is scored for the two of you and nobody else. It stays off the daily board, it does not move your points and it does not touch your streak, so you can take one on as well as your own run rather than instead of it.
Streaks run on days, not sets: play one day, then the next, and it climbs. Miss a day and it survives. Miss two and it starts again.
Where the prices come from
The same place the rest of the desk reads them. PatinaAI prices live listings across Steam, Skinport, CSFloat, Buff and the other books it watches, converts them to euros, and keeps them fresh through the day. The game asks for the cheapest ask because that is the number a buyer would actually pay, and it freezes it the moment your set is dealt, so the answer cannot move between the round appearing and you calling it.

Past 30% a call starts costing you, down to a floor of minus 250 a skin, so a wild guess is worse than a careful one. A perfect five is 5000. PatinaAI Pro accounts get a sixth call, drawn from the whole pool and worth half, which makes a perfect day 5500 for them. Points are bragging rights and buy nothing.
Can I play against a friend?
Yes, and a duel is its own game. It has its own set of five, the same five for both of you, no clock, and each of you sees the other's score only once you have both finished. It never touches the daily board, your points or your streak: it is a thing between you and whoever you sent the link to, which is why you can play it as well as your own run rather than instead of it.
Do I need an account?
You need a Steam sign in, which is free and takes one click. It is what makes the set yours rather than everyone's, and it keeps the daily board honest: one run a day per account, and a score attached to a real Steam profile rather than to a browser somebody can clear.
