How the numbers are read
Every item is priced at the best cash price you could sell it for right now, after that venue's fee, in euros. Only venues that pay out money can set that number. Steam's listing is shown beside it, since wallet funds only buy more Steam items. Each side's total is the sum of its items, and the gap between the two totals is the number to weigh.
A Doppler is really seven different knives: a Ruby can sell for five times a Phase 3. So a Doppler is priced only once you pick its phase, from the phase books, and stays unpriced while the phase is unknown. A float you enter moves the price along a curve fitted from real listings, and the row says by how much.
Signed in, the same maths runs on your real copies. Sign in with Steam, and with the extension your incoming Steam offers are priced as they land, with floats, stickers and phases read from the items themselves.
Questions
How do I know if a CS2 trade is fair?
Price both sides in money, not Steam wallet funds, at the exact wear and variant, after the fee the venue takes when you sell. Add up each side and compare. If you give €120 of sell value and get €100, you're €20 down, whatever the Steam listings say. Whether that's fine for a skin you want more is your call.
Can I check a trade with several items on each side?
Yes. Add up to 30 items to each side, with a quantity for cases or stickers. Each item is priced on its own best venue, and each side also shows what a single venue would pay for all of it.
How are Doppler phases priced?
Only once you pick the phase. Ruby, Sapphire, Black Pearl and Emerald sell for several times a normal phase, so a Doppler with an unknown phase stays unpriced and out of the total. Check the phase in game or in the offer's inspect view, then pick it.
Why not use Steam Community Market prices?
A Steam listing pays you wallet funds, which only buy more Steam items, and Steam keeps 15 %. A cash venue pays money and takes its own fee, usually between 2 and 12 %. The same skin can be worth a third less as wallet funds than as cash, so two skins that look level on Steam can be far apart in what you could actually sell them for.
Does the float, pattern or a sticker change the value?
The float can, and you can enter it: the price moves along a curve fitted from real listings. Rare patterns and applied stickers aren't read on this page. Signed in with the extension, your own copies and the ones in your offers are priced with their float, pattern, stickers and phase.
Can I check the person I'm trading with?
Signed in, the trade check reads your incoming Steam offers, prices both sides per copy and flags the other trader against SteamRep. This page answers the price question for any items by name.
Do you keep the trades I check?
We don't save the trades you check. The share link carries only the item names and the phase, float and quantity you picked. Like any page, opening it is counted anonymously and passes through our server logs (see the privacy policy). A trade post is the one thing we keep, and only when you make one: the item names, your picks and your line, deleted after 90 days.
