PatinaAI (patinaai.net) is a personal-scale CS2 inventory value tracker run by Albu Adrian, a private individual in Romania, not a company or a registered business. These terms also cover what you use without an account: price follows by email or browser notification, trade posts, reports and the free tools. By using them you accept these terms too.
Who can use it
You need to be 16 or older. Pro is a paid contract: for that you need to be 18, or 16 or 17 with a parent’s consent.
The service
PatinaAI values your CS2 inventory against public market data, tracks cost basis and positions you enter, and offers analysis tools including an AI analyst. It is read-only against Steam: it cannot buy, sell, list, or send trade offers on your behalf, ever. The free features cost nothing and come without a promise that they’ll always be there or always work; we may change or end one with reasonable notice.
Not financial advice
Every price is indicative, computed from crawled data that can be stale, thin, or wrong. The AI analyst is an AI, not a person, and can be wrong with complete confidence. No price, chart or answer here is financial or investment advice, no outcome is assured, and every decision and its risk are yours alone.
Your account
- Sign-in is through Steam; you are responsible for your Steam account's security.
- Your extension token is a credential, so keep it private and rotate it if exposed.
- You may delete your account and all your data at any time from the Account tab.
- Signed in, you can share a card of your own inventory’s value from the app, and only of your own. It shows the totals, the item count and your five priciest items, with no name, avatar or profile link, to anyone holding the link, for 90 days unless you delete it sooner.
What you post: the rules
You can publish a few things here: trade board posts (items and a note), trade posts (items and a short line), value cards, public baskets (a name and items) and shared trade-ups (a title and a contract). Whatever you post, you’re responsible for it. You may not use any of them, or the AI analyst, for:
- anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law;
- scams, phishing, fake trade or login links, or posing as someone else (another trader, a Valve or PatinaAI employee, a middleman);
- other people’s personal data: names, SteamIDs, addresses, phone numbers, anything that exposes someone;
- threats, harassment, hate against people for who they are, or sexual content;
- advertising, spam, selling accounts or real money trading pitches, or links to malware;
- content that isn’t yours to publish, such as someone else’s artwork or trademark used to mislead.
Automatic checks. Some limits are applied by code before anything goes up, so you see the reason straight away. A trade post’s line is at most 80 characters and is refused when it holds a link, a web address, a Steam trade link, or a run of 7 or more digits (the shape of a SteamID or a phone number). A board note is at most 500 characters, a basket name 3 to 60, a trade-up title has a length limit, and a board post only takes items you really hold. Posts also expire on their own: board posts after 14 days, or when an item in them leaves your inventory, and trade posts and value cards after 90 days. No automatic filter reads what you wrote for meaning, and nothing is taken down by a machine: every removal for breaking the rules is decided by the operator himself.
What we may do. If content is illegal or breaks these rules, we may remove it or make it private. If an account keeps breaking them, or does something serious once (a scam, a threat), we may suspend it for a time or close it. We act with care and in proportion, taking account of everyone’s rights, including freedom of expression. Plain mistakes get a removal, not a ban. We may also end an account that endangers the service or other users.
Reporting content
Every piece of public content has a Report link, which opens our report form. You can also write to [email protected]. So we can act on it, a report should give the address of the content, explain why you think it’s illegal or breaks the rules, give your name and email address, and confirm that you believe in good faith that what you say is accurate and complete. For a report about child sexual abuse material, your name and email are optional. We confirm that we got your report if you give an email, look at it in a timely, careful and objective way, and tell you what we decided. Reports are read and decided by a person, not by a machine. If you send reports that are clearly unfounded again and again, we may stop handling your reports for a while, after warning you.
If we remove your content
When we remove or restrict your content, or suspend or close your account, we tell you what we did, why, which rule or law it rests on, whether a report or our own check led to it, and how to challenge it. We send that statement of reasons to the email address confirmed on your account. A trade post or value card isn’t linked to anyone, so we can’t reach its maker; write to us with its link and we give you the reasons.
Challenging a decision. You can reply within 6 months of a decision, whether you posted the content or reported it, by writing to [email protected]. The operator looks at it again himself, not a machine, reverses the decision when it was wrong, and tells you the outcome. You can also go to court, or to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the EU Digital Services Act; doing either doesn’t cost you anything under these terms.
Pro
The free plan includes a daily allowance of AI analyst questions. The site carries no ads on any plan. Pro unlocks your full inventory (trade-locked items and per-copy floats) and makes the analyst unlimited. Pro is sold by the operator, Albu Adrian, a private individual in Romania. Once a registered business is set up, the legal notice will name it.
- What you buy: a subscription to a digital service, billed monthly, every 3 months or yearly.
- Renewals: it renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period, charged to the same payment method, until you cancel.
- Prices are shown before you pay, and the price shown is the total you pay: no VAT is added, because the seller isn’t VAT registered. Payment is handled by Stripe, which sends you a receipt for each charge. A price change is announced in advance, never affects a period you’ve paid for, and lets you cancel before it applies.
- Cancelling: any time, from Account → Manage subscription. It stops the next renewal and Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer you can withdraw from a Pro purchase within 14 days of the day you bought it, without giving a reason. To withdraw, tell us clearly, for example by mail to [email protected]; you can use the model form below, but you don’t have to. Sending it before the 14 days are up is enough.
Pro starts only if you ask it to start straight away, by ticking the box at the checkout. If you do and then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay only for the days you used, in proportion to the full price, and get the rest back. We refund within 14 days of your withdrawal, with the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
None of this touches your rights if Pro is faulty or not as described: then the legal guarantee for digital services applies, whatever these terms say.
Third parties
Market data originates from Steam and third-party marketplaces under their own terms. PatinaAI is not affiliated with Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike is a trademark of Valve.
Liability
We’re fully liable for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, where a guarantee was given, and wherever the law makes liability mandatory, such as product liability. For slight negligence we’re liable only when we break a duty the service can’t work without, and then only for the typical harm we could foresee. Prices, charts and analyst answers are information, not advice, so we’re not liable for trades or investments you make because of them, unless one of the cases above applies. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you and that can’t be waived.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you’re a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the rules of that country that can’t be set aside by agreement, and you can take a dispute to the courts where you live.
