What to check in a CS2 price tracker
Every tracker shows a price. What matters is which price, from where, how old, and what it costs you to see it. Here's how PatinaAI answers each of those, and what to ask the tool you're holding it up against.
How to read this page
We only talk about ourselves here. We don't describe any other tracker, because we can't promise what someone else's site does today, and you shouldn't have to take our word for it anyway.
So the table gives you our answer on the left and a plain question on the right. Take the questions to whatever tool you're weighing and see how its answers stack up next to ours.

Where we're weaker
Worth knowing before you pick us for anything:
- 6 of our 15 venues come only through a mirror refreshed every 6 hours, and so do Steam's bulk prices, so those prices can be a few hours old.
- Some marketplaces won't let our server read their individual listings right now, so per copy comparisons are thin there.
- No mobile app, and the extension runs on Chromium desktop browsers only.
- No public price API at the moment.
- CS2 only. No Rust, Dota 2 or TF2.
- Our own daily snapshot of every venue only goes back to August 2026. Steam sold history goes further, but only for the names our crawl has reached.

Why doesn't this page name other trackers?
Because we can only vouch for what PatinaAI does. Other tools change their plans and features without telling us, so the fair thing is to give you the questions and let you check them yourself.
Is PatinaAI free?
The price pages, the trade-up calculator and the inventory value checker are free, and most of it needs no account. Following a price by email doesn't need one either.
How fresh are PatinaAI's prices?
It depends on the venue. The fastest direct feed is read every few minutes, while 6 of the 15 venues, and Steam's bulk prices, come through a mirror refreshed every 6 hours. Every page prints when its prices were read.
