Rush Hour
Valve published "Rush Hour" on 22 September 2026 in Community Announcements. The PatinaAI market index has no read for this window: it needs at least three published days on each side of the post. A read is a comparison with a date, not a cause.
Put your foot on the gas and floor it. Welcome to Rush, a new fast-paced 3v3 queued mode for CS2. Experience the push and pull as you advance through a gauntlet of randomly-selected battle arenas, and dominate your opponent to win the match!
Make the most of your limited budget and precious time to clear the objective. Control the tower when you eliminate the enemy team (or time expires) to win the round.

Run the gauntlet of battle arenas to capture the enemy castle and win the match. The battle arenas are randomly selected each time you play, so no two matches are the same.
Keep track of your wins and compete for bragging rights with the Rush friends leaderboard!
Pick, Pick Pick, Pick
We think that if you spend a lot of time developing strategies on a map, you should have a chance to benefit from that investment. So today we're changing the process for getting into a map in Premier--instead of banning down to a single map, teams will vote to pick two maps each. After all four maps are picked, a single map will be randomly selected and the match will begin.
Change You Can See
Today's update also includes several quality of life improvements, starting with blood and bullet impact visiblity. Blood is now much more bloody, and bullet impacts are far more impacty.

But wait, there's more! Crosshairs have gotten a significant upgrade with new shapes and other features, so check out the new Crosshair/Scopes settings and create the custom crosshair of your dreams. Also, Clan Tags are back! Select one of your Steam Groups in your player profile and you'll see your clan tag appear next to your name wherever you play.
Change You Can't See (or Hear)
There are some gameplay adjustments in today's update to add a bit of stealth to your game-time decisions. Reloading can now be performed silently (by holding the reload key), but with a cost--silent reloads take quite a bit longer. And for those of you who love scoping your scoped weapons, you'll now be perfectly silent when you unscope, as nature intended.

Read the post on Steam. Text as Steam's news feed serves it.
Watching: 1 of 7 days of prices since the post. A mark needs three, and is final at seven.
The index has no read for this window: it needs at least three published days on each side of the post, between 2026-09-15 and 2026-09-29, and the composite has fewer. A post from the last week reads once the days publish.
The item types and weapons the post names, in the order it names them. A word match, not a reading of the post.
How to read the number
The read compares the market index's median over the seven UTC days after the post with the seven days before it, the post's own day left out, and needs at least three published days on each side. The same measure taken on every day of the series is the drift a typical week shows; a read inside that drift is the market doing what it was doing. Neither is proof the post moved anything. The composite is on the market report, every basket under the indexes, and every update is on one list.
